Visit of the Secretary General of the Alliance Française foundation
Sunday, 23rd March 2014, the Alliance Française de Bangalore welcomed Mr. Jean-Claude Jacq, Secretary General of the Alliance Française foundation (Paris).
Mr. Jacq was accompanied by Mrs. Anne Garance Primel, member of the delegate for Asia and Europe. They will visit all the 15 Alliance Francaise centers in the country.
In Bangalore, Mr. Jacq inaugurated the photography exhibition "I am a Seed of the Tree" which comprised of 40 photographs by Mrs. Bindi Sheth and text written by Esther David. They capture the multicultural facet of Indian Jews as they try to preserve their Jewish identity in India.
Mr. Jean-Claude Jacq took this opportunity to interact with students, teachers, members and the team of the Alliance Française de Bangalore. Mr. Eric Lavertu, Consul General of France, was also present.
