H.E. Mrs Christine Lagarde, French Minister for Economy, Finance and Industry, officially declared her intention to stand for the position of Managing Director of the IMF (International Monetary Fund).
In order to exchange views and share her vision for this post, she held meetings in Delhi with Prime Minister of India, Finance Minister and deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission.
