Visit of France-India Parliamentary Friendship Group to India, 4-10 December 2011

A delegation of the France-India friendship group of the French National Assembly (Lower House of the French Parliament), headed by its President Mr Nicolas Forissier, was on a six-day visit to India from 4 to 10 December 2011. Mr Forissier was accompanied by Mr Jean Launay, Vice President, Mr Christian Blanc and Mr Jean-François Mancel, Members of the group. Apart from Delhi, the delegation also travelled to Bengaluru, Chennai and Puducherry.

In the course of their stay, they held meeting with Shri Yashwant Sinha, Hon’ble Member of Parliament and President of the India-France Parliamentary Friendship Group, and with H.E. Dr Iqbal Singh, Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry as well as other Indian dignitaries. The delegation also met Indian and French industrialists.
