Visit of French Senators to New Delhi, Bangalore and Pondicherry

A delegation of 3 French Senators - Ms. Kalliopi Ango Ela, Ms. Sophie Primas and Ms. Josette Durrieu - accompanied by Ms. Aude Bornens, Administrator from the Senate are in India from 14th to 20th July. After spending two eventful days in New Delhi including Ms. Ango Ela, Senator for overseas French nationals, participating at the French National Day ceremonies, the delegation paid a visit to Bangalore, a bouyant hub for innovation and scientific research and development.

The objective of their visit in India and especially to Bangalore was to understand the impact and role of French participation internationally in research for development, and, in particular, on Indo-French collaborations.
