‘France Make In India’ Seminar in Bangalore

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) in association with ASTech and Systematic innovative clusters organized a seminar on ‘France Make In India’ on 7th October 2015.

The welcome address was delivered by Mr. Pierre Behnam, President of IFCCI. A special address was given by Mr. François Gautier, Consul General of France in Bangalore.

Shri. R.V. Deshpande, Minister for Industries, Government of Karnataka, gave the keynote address in which he encouraged investors to explore the ample opportunities available in Karnataka especially in Bangalore. He also addressed the challenges of the Make in India policy and invited investors to put forward their various concerns so that the Government can address the same. In the audience were the likes of Executives, Chief Executive Officers, consultants and advisors from various sectors such as Aerospace, Transport and Energy firms.

The French participating companies were Lumiplan, Safran, Airbus, SDV Logistic, Amco Saft, Decathlon and Atherm Thermal Solutions. All these French subsidiaires who have set up business in India shared their experience with those present in the audience..
