Ambassador pays homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat

H.E. Mr Alexandre Ziegler, Ambassador of France to India, accompanied by his spouse, today paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.

Expressing his reflections on the occasion, he wrote in the Visitors’ Book, “I came to pay tribute to the towering figure of Mahatma Gandhi. His courage, his determination, his absolute faith in humankind, his unconditional championing of peace still are an example for us. Today, more than ever, his message and his values remain of utmost relevance.”
