Visit of French Senators to Hyderabad, 8th to 10th March
7 Senators from France visited the city of Hyderabad in order to understand the existing Indo-France collaboration with the state and to enhance cooperation in the fields of culture, education, science and R&D.

Meetings were organised at the start-up incubator, T-Hub where the Senators not only got a glimpse of where the next industrial revolution is take us to but also met with Life Circle associated with French company Groupe SOS for providing medical assistance at Indian homes.
A visit to the Indo-French Centre for Groundwater Research, an 18 years collaboration in the heart of the NGRI and the Indo-French Joint Laboratory for Sustainable Chemistry within IICT gave an insight into scientific collaborations. Further the guided tour of Sanofi’s latest plant provided the platform to industrial capabilities with joint efforts from both countries.
Meanwhile an introduction to the Mahindra Ecole Centrale and a quick overview of student mobility at the Campus France seminar promised bright academic future to Indian students considering France as a destination for higher studies.
