Training session at the Alliance Française de Goa – 3rd and 4th October, 2013
The Director of Alliance Française de Panjim, Karine Christophe, held a training session in creative writing led by Mr. Christian Rodier, the Co-operation Attaché for French in Bombay with the support of the French Institute in India,
30 people attended on the first day (15 teachers from the schools of Goa, 2 M1 students and the professors of the Alliance Française), 15 on the second day (mainly teachers of the Alliance Française, a student of M1 and the Chairman of the Managing Committee). The training aimed to convince teachers to work differently, with the tools of writing workshops (triggers, imitation, conditioned and literary games etc..), written and spoken. Training learners in the "poetic" dimension of language is both a pleasure and a motivational experience.
Writing absurd sentences, lists and inventories, impromptu songs, writing poems, texts, invention of islands, crafts, writers, books etc.. were on the agenda of this training session that was a resounding success.
