Release of the books Vitamine and DELF Junior & Scolaire, 9th March

The Embassy of France in India and Langers had the pleasure of launching Vitamine and DELF Junior & Scolaire in the Indian education sector on Wednesday, 9th March, 2011.
The books were officially released in the presence of Mr Max Claudet, Counsellor for Culture and Cooperation, Embassy of France, Dr Sachin S. Vernekar, Director, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Institute of Management and Research, Mr S. C. Arora, Vice-Chairman, Lotus Valley School, Noida, Mr Daniel Rignault, Attaché for Cooperation in Education, and Ms Chantal Prost, Attaché for Cooperation in the French Language.
The Embassy of France in India tirelessly promotes French culture and language. In this process, it encourages Indian publishers to collaborate with French ones to introduce, import and popularise the latest language learning methods.
About the books:
Vitamine is a course book in two volumes meant for students in the age group of 6 years and above.
DELF Junior & Scolaire offers a series of books for practising French language skills especially adapted for the young Indian learners. Available in four volumes pertaining to different levels of language learning, these books follow the latest CCE pattern very closely that CBSE and the Ministry of Human Resource and Development are now promoting in India to bring activity-oriented self-learning skills to students.
Langers, an imprint of Saraswati House Pvt. Ltd., has brought to India a large number of books from French publishers for Indian learners of all ages. In their latest effort, they have published the new teaching-learning books by CLE International Paris, France. All these books are latest in their category and suit Indian students following CBSE guidelines.
