Niti Aayog and Embassy of France hold joint workshop on e-mobility
Indo-French workshop on e-mobility with Shri. Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog.

In partnership with Niti Aayog, the Embassy of France in India today held a workshop on e-mobility, involving French experts and the representatives of fifteen French companies present in India.
This event, co-chaired by Shri Amitabh Kant, CEO of Niti Aayog, and H.E. Mr Alexandre Ziegler, Ambassador of France to India, enabled the participants to hold fruitful discussions about the future of e-mobility in France and India, A wide range of subjects, including cars and component manufacturing, grid and charging stations management, and e-mobility in urban planning, were raised.
Shri Anand Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Dr Vandana Kumar, Joint Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, and Mr Mukund Kumar Sinha, OSD - Urban Transport and ex. officio Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), chaired three round tables on various themes.
Clean mobility is a key solution for a more sustainable future. France is fully supportive of India’s commitment to developing renewable energy and e-mobility. Both countries share the same resolve to firmly combat climate change.
