The months of March – April shall showcase once again “Be There! Do That!” experiences in France.
1. Showcasing “Be There! Do That!” Experiences through a print media campaign in collaboration with Air France
It’s thanks to a print media collaboration with Air France. Full page creatives promoting French regions and competitive air fares on Air France to various French destinations shall be promoted in reputed dailies such as Hindustan Times and the Hindu in metropolitan cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Bangalore, Mangalore and Hyderabad.
Staying true to the spirit of the “Be There! Do That!” objective, this campaign shall promote unique experiences in French regions such as the Midi-Pyrenees region, made famous as a shooting venue for the movie, “The Hundred-Foot Journey”, the glamour of the Riviera, the untarnished beauty of Provence, the prestigious vineyards of Bordeaux and its surroundings, the iconic chateaux of the Loire Valley, the pristine beauty of the Rhone Alpes region – home to the majestic French Alps and a heady mix of vineyards and the art de vivre of Alsace, Champagne-Ardenne and Burgundy
To motivate holidaymakers to “Be There! Do That!” in the regions, Air France will offer attractive fares to gateway cities such as: Paris, Nantes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, Nice, Lyon and Strasbourg.
2. Record Number of participants for the B2B workshop, Rendez-vous en France 2015 !
The most renowned workshop of the French touristic offer, Rendez-vous en France 2015 will take place in Paris, Porte de Versailles on 31st March and 1st April. For its 10th edition this year, an unprecedented increase in the number of tourism professionals is expected (+10% this year).
Bringing together close to 2100 tourism professionals, this important workshop, organised annually by Atout France, Air France and its regional partners, provides the perfect platform for the promotion of the French touristic offer to a diverse gathering of travel companies from as many as 70 countries.
A delegation of 22 travel agents and 2 journalists from India will also travel for this event. In addition to interacting with French tourism suppliers and developing business synergies at the event, it will also be an ideal occasion for the delegation to discover regions such as Midi Pyrenees, Loire Valley and Champagne who have prepared special pre and post educational tours for the travel agents and journalists.
