Ms. Barbry visits Makers Asylum

On 4th April, Ms. Sonia Barbry, The Consul General of France in Mumbai was at Makers Asylum for the closing ceremony of the D.I.V.E Program. She handed over the program completion certificates to the participants and congratulated them for their initiative.

D.I.V.E is a 1 month long, project-based experiential learning program which Maker’s Asylum conducted in March 2019 in partnership with XAVIER University at Bhubaneshwar and EMLYON Business School.

40 participants (25 French and 15 Indians) were a part of the program who created prototype models which are based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals aimed at developing Digital pedagogies for Building Peaceful and Sustainable Societies.

The program focused on bringing together various stakeholders which include entrepreneurs, students and corporate organisations. Participant’s got a unique firsthand experience in the areas of frugal innovation, BOP economics, social innovation, social enterprise and CSR to name a few.
