Job Title: Cook

Detailed job responsibilities:
- Set up the menus, determine the portions and quantities required, prepare the meals (taking into account special dietary needs, if any);
- Order, buy and check the necessary stock of goods;
- In case of receptions and/or other events organized at the Residence, be ready to serve at the indicated time, serve the buffet at the appointed time and stay (unless otherwise indicated by the Consul General) until the end of the reception to clean (with the servers) as well as count the bottles consumed;
- Apply the health and safety rules in force;
- Keep accounts of purchases on a daily basis;
- Keep account of the cellar of the Consulate;
- Participate in the maintenance of the kitchen and ancillary premises (with the person in charge of the household);
- Be the point of contact for the management and the smooth functioning of the Residence (gas, repairs, pest control ...);
- Pay the minor bills of the Residence (electricity, telephone ....).
Required Skills :
Be able to organize his/her work;
Know how to manage priorities and be punctual for receptions;
Be methodical, rigorous and impeccable concerning hygiene;
Be honest and sober in behavior;
Respect the confidentiality of the position.
Date on which the position must be filled:
Required expertise: knowledge of French dishes or European cuisine
Languages: English Preferable

Pay level: level 2
Gross monthly salary: INR 26,479 (Based on the current salary structure - increase of 0.8% per year, in January)

Other benefits: - 13th month
