Indo-French workshop on emerging trends in Electron Modeling
From March 30 to April 1, 2015, researchers from India and France will come together for the ‘Indo-French Workshop on Emerging Trends in Electron Modelling’. The workshop aims to “bring the researchers from both countries together by providing them a common platform to exchange ideas, collaborate and work towards the next-generation electron device model development”. The event is jointly organised by the Indian Institute of Science and Institut supérieur d’électronique de Paris, France and sponsored by the Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (CEFIPRA). The workshop will be held at the Faculty Hall, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
Spread over three days, the workshop will see researchers from leading Indian and French institutes giving talks on state-of-the-art techniques in electron device modeling. Indian researchers from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Mumbai, Madras, Roorkee, and Gandhinagar, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad and Allahabad, Indian Institute of Science, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, and SASTRA University are giving talks in the workshop. Speakers from France are from various institutes including the Laboratory for Electronics & Information Technology, Grenoble, University of Jean Monnet, Grenoble, University of Bordeaux, Universite de Caen, and the National Centre for Scientific Research, France.
