Geodis’ Centre of Excellence receives delegates from the French Consulate

On May 11, the Consul General of France and team were welcomed by Geodis India’s management team for a tour of the site and for an in-depth understanding of the activities and growth story of the firm.

French firm Geodis, part of the SNCF French Group, officially opened its Centre of Excellence in Bangalore in December 2022 in order to provide IT solutions to their impressive list of clients from across the globe in their supply chain management. This Bangalore office employs 65 engineers and industrial experts for a smooth and sustainable flow of the logistics chain. The multilanguage Centre of Excellence services its clients 24/7 and is fast turning into the Asia Pacific and South Asia for all outsourced and IT solutions centre.

In India, the freightfoward division of Geodis is spread across 17 sites in the country handling about 17600 tons of airfreight and 33282 teus of seafreight. This entity employs over 450 direct employees.
