New Delhi, 14 December 2017

Erik Truffaz, celebrated for his genre-bending jazz music, today partnered with India’s own electronic musician, Riatsu, to deliver a captivating performance at Bikaner House.

The French trumpeter was here on the concluding leg of his Bonjour India 2017-2018 itinerary, which also saw him perform, among others, with percussionist Anand Bhagat, multi-instrumentalist Neil Gomes, and jazz star and keyboardist Louiz Banks.

Truffaz is no stranger to India. He formed enduring ties with the country in 2008 when a residency in Kolkata gave him the opportunity to work on and record a full repertoire with two traditional musicians, eventually leading to an international tour and the album ‘Benares’.
