French Foreign Trade Advisors meet 2015
The French Foreign Trade Advisors, India chapter, met at Bangalore the weekend of 8th to 10th May 2015 for the first spring meeting of 2015.
These seminars/meetings of the French Foreign Trade Advisors, have several objectives: providing information, advice and recommendations to French public authorities, work on specific cases (on certain sectorial activities, CSR..etc). This decentralized seminar also allows all the members of the French Foreign Trade Advisors to know another city/region.
For this seminar, the city of Bangalore was given the spotlight. Thirty members of the Foreign Trade Advisors as well as the French Consulate General of Mumbai, of Bangalore and the France Business Director in Bangalore, responded to this call and participated in the planned activities.
The seminar opened on Friday evening with a welcome cocktail at the Ibis Bangalore City Center to welcome the 30 French Foreign Trade Advisors.
Saturday began with a national meeting with several presentations: A Roadmap by the President of French Foreign Trade Advisors, India; Geo-political and economic situation of Karnataka by the Consul General of France in Bangalore; The attractiveness of Bangalore for French companies by the Director of Business France in Bangalore and the French Foreign Trade Advisors of Bangalore.
The meeting was followed by a site visit to Decathlon (Anubhava’s shop) and meetings with the executives. They allowed us to visit the store and explained their concept in India.
Finally, the seminar concluded with a Saturday dinner at the Residence of France, by the invitation of the Consul General of France – which enabled continuation of networking.
This seminar helped to highlight our beautiful city of Bangalore and its attractiveness for any French company wanting to establish themselves here.
