French Ambassador visits Gujarat, to boost cooperation in green cities, culture, design and education, and meets Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, 14-15 October 2013
The Ambassador of France to India, H.E. Mr François Richier, visited Gujarat on 14th and 15th October. He focused on forward-looking cooperation projects in fields such as sustainable urban development, cultural exchanges and heritage conservation, and education and design. He was accompanied by the French Consul General in Mumbai, Mr Jean-Raphaël Peytregnet, competent for Gujarat, French Institute Director and Cultural Counsellor, Mr Max Claudet, as well as a delegation of 15 French urban development companies together with the Economic Advisor of the Embassy, Mr Jean-René Cougard.
