Ambassador of France to India, Alexandre Ziegler inaugurates the First French Food Market at the Embassy of France.

The Embassy of France held the very first French Food Market on its premises, organised by Business France India, the French Trade and Investment Commission.
The dedicated gastronomy event brought over 20 French brands under one roof for 150 Indian importers.
During the lunch served at the Market, culinary students from Vatel Hospitality presented the various courses served.
On this occasion, Executive Pastry Chef, Benoît Vidal, served French specialities, ranging from savouries and dips to viennoiserie and patisserie.
The Ambassador of France to India, H.E. Mr Alexandre Ziegler, inaugurated the French Food Market on Thursday, 11th July at the Embassy of France.
Remarking that it was this year’s theme for the French National Day celebrations, Ambassador Alexandre Ziegler, said, “This year, we bring you the décor, food and atmosphere of French markets. Markets are an essential part of the life of every French village and every French city; their roots are deeply entrenched in history, but remain very much alive today in the age of online shopping and big shopping malls.”
“The French Food Market” provides Indian professionals a French product range including: Delifrance for bakery items, Président for cheese, Maison Chaudun for confectionery, Yabon for vanilla and chocolate cream, Compagnie des Saveurs for dry fruits oil, Bonheur for syrup, Bonne Maman for preserves, Gavottes for biscuits, Patrick Font for juices, Lune De Miel for honey, and many more.
