French Consulate hosts Indo French exchange students over High Tea
The Consulate general of France in Kolkata on Wednesday the 12th December hosted more than 85 Indian and French students and their respective faculties, in a friendly interaction over high tea.
The ‘meet and greet’ programme was organised by Institut francais in India in collaboration with the French Consulate.
Exchange Students from St Joseph de Lamballe in France, hosted by their partner school in the city, Sushila Birla for Girls and students from St Louis-la-paix de Lorient, being hosted by the Birla High school for Boys took part in this event.
The Acting Consul General Mr. Olivier Cassin held an interactive session with the students, discussing a range of topics from the importance of people to people relations in the Franco-Indian ties to the very pertinent questions on the favoured institutes of choice in school partnerships in building bilateral relations between the two countries.
Mr Cassin further took the students on a guided tour of the Consulate offices detailing the workings of a diplomatic enterprise to a very enthusiastic audience!
