Employment service at the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has created an employment service for the French who are looking for a job or an internship in India.
This service, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, started in January 2012.
It is available at the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) that’s headquartered in Mumbai. The service is also present in New Delhi and Chennai.
The functioning of the employment service is supervised by a Consular Committee for Employment and Vocational Training (CCPEFP) under the Consulate General of France in Bombay.
The main objective of the employment service is to help French jobseekers find work or an internship in India. The service has also organized vocational training activities such as workshops for newcomers in India and HR workshops for potential employers in India.
