DELF/DALF Convocation Ceremony
A special convocation ceremony had been organized on the 5th of May at 6pm for successful candidates who have passed the DELF/DALF exams in December 2013. The Guest of Honour, Mr Eric Lavertu, the Consul General of France in Bangalore handed over the certificates to the candidates.
The Consul General of France felicitated the students on having completed the tests and said that the certification is a linguistic passport as many French companies having offices in India look for candidates who speak French and generally require the DELF/DALF certification.
"I am very happy to award students who have passed their DELF and DALF examinations this year and congratulate not only the students for their performance but also their parents who have shown confidence in the Alliance Française de Bangalore", he said.
He concluded by adding, "This occasion is significant for the Alliance Française as much as for the students because the number of graduates of DELF and DALF prove that this institution has a great team of competent teachers and students have been able to benefit from the language lessons imparted by this institution."
