Consul General of France visits IIIT-Bangalore

On 27th December, Dr. Marjorie Vanbaelinghem, Consul General of France, visited the campus of IIIT-B (International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore) and met the Director of the institute in order to explore areas of academic collaborations.

The Consul General visited the various laboratories and research centers on campus in order to have a global vision of the domains of expertise of the institute. The meetings concluded with fruitful discussions on the way forward, namely in academic collaborations with France.

The IIITB, was established in 1999 with a vision to contribute to the IT world by focusing on education and research, entrepreneurship and innovation. The Institute is a registered not-for-profit society funded jointly by the government of Karnataka and the IT industry.
