Campus France Organises Pre Departure Session for students going to France
The Pre Departure session for the year 2017 was organised by Mr Amitava Das, head of Campus France at the Birla Industrial and Technological Museum and hosted almost 200 students who are going to study in France this year. The enthusiasm of the gathered students was very apparent as they braved inclement weather and chaotic traffic, to attend this session.
Mr Olivier Cassin, the Deputy Consul at the Consulate General of France in Kolkata welcomed all the students to this annual interaction and took a range of questions from the gathered crowd concerning visas and academic life in France.
Ms. Marjorie Bazin, course director, at the Alliance Française du Bengale and Ms Lou Macheprin made a presentation relevant to the programme and its aspirants, featuring the socio economic aspect of France.
A special discourse on the benefits of learning the French language while pursuing further studies in France was also shared with the gathered students. Mrs Vidhya Suresh representative from the India office Esigelec interacted with the students and updated them on their course queries.
Keeping in mind the financials of the academic programmes on offer, members from the Axis Bank and Credila were also present and were able to cater to the various doubts that students had specifically regarding Foreign exchange and educational loans for their upcoming year in France.
