CEFIPRA 25th Anniversary : Silver Jubilee Celebration and the expansion of its activities
IFCPAR/CEFIPRA, 25 YEARS OF SUCCESS FOR INDO-FRENCH COOPERATION IN CUTTING-EDGE SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY
Established in 1987, the Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (IFCPAR) / Centre Franco-Indien pour la Promotion de la Recherche Avancée (CEFIPRA) is equally funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of France. Promoting collaborative research between India and France in cutting edge Science and Technology, for the past 25 years, close to 500 projects have been funded and 100 seminars organized in all major areas of science. THE IFCPAR/CEFIPRA 25TH ANNIVERSARY LAUNCHES A NEW EXPANSION ERA OF CEFIPRA.
The expansion of CEFIPRA decided on the 6th of March in Delhi targets an impressive range of new programmatic activities. The main expansion is the opening of the “CEFIPRA Innovation” branch, dedicated to fund projects in public-private partnership. Moreover, CEFIPRA is opened to receive industry or foundation funds to finance Indo-French projects in Science, Technology and Innovation, this will allow the funding of new initiatives under the umbrella of Indo-French collaboration.
