Atout France - France Tourism Development Agency conducted its annual roadshow, "Rendez-vous en France" during the week of 7th-11th September in New Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai.
A delegation of 24 French tourism professionals visited the 3 cities for professional interactions with the travel trade and members of the press.
Delegates this year included representatives from Air France, Rail Europe, the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau, Accor Hotels,Cesar Palace Paris (Cabaret), Disneyland Paris, Compagnie des Alpes - Parc Asterix, Futuroscope, Grevin, The Gate Collection: Luxury and Lifestyle Hotels Paris, Le Cordon Bleu, Deauville Tourisme, La Baule Tourist Office, Picardy North of France, Champagne-Ardenne Tourism, Dijon Tourist Office, Rhône-Alpes Tourisme, Riviera of Your Dreams: Cannes & St Tropez, Key Promotion International (DMC), Marseille Convention and Visitor Bureau, Mondoramas Incoming (DMC), Midi-Pyrénées Tourist Board, Carcassonne World Heritage, Lourdes & Lisieux: Tourism & Spirituality in France, Lourdes Hotel Services and Globus Family of Brands.
Commenting on the activities of the week, Sheetal Munshaw - Director Atout France India shared her thoughts, "Our showcase this year saw an interesting mix of our constant partners and new regions and attractions, tourist boards and DMCs that have made a foray into this market. This year’s edition was the perfect occasion to present Euro 2016 which will take place in French cities next summer and its mascot Super Victor. The 2015 road show has been backed by encouraging statistics: 4,00,000 Indian visitor arrivals to France for 2014, registering an 18% increase over 2013 arrivals. We are optimistic that this year’s showcase will help us in our endeavour of further augmenting Indian arrivals to France in the coming months and enhancing France’s positioning as a premier outbound destination’’.
