Aero India 2015 opens with a breathtaking air show

The 10th edition of the five-day biannual air show, Aero India 2015, opened on Wednesday, 18th February 2015 at Yelahanka Air Force Station, near Bangalore, with a breathtaking air show.

The 10th edition of the five-day biannual air show, Aero India 2015, opened on Wednesday, 18th February 2015 at Yelahanka Air Force Station, near Bangalore, with a breathtaking air show. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the exhibition, accompanied by Minister of Defence Manohar Parrikar.

An exhibition that has gained increasing popularity, Aero India 2015 has 635 participating aerospace companies and nearly 300 CEOs from India and abroad, including delegates from 42 countries. France has the second largest presence at Aero India 2015 with 58 participating companies.

Audiences were treated to a spectacular air show by two Rafale omnirole fighter jets deployed from Al Dhafra Air Base (United Arab Emirates).
