13.01.2015 - Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Reunion Island (CCIR)
On the 13th January 2015, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Mr Pierre Behnam, President of the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) and Mr Ibrahim Patel, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Reunion Island (CCIR), at the Consulate general of France in Mumbai. This signature comes in continuation of the previous 3 year MoU that was signed in Mumbai in January 2012.
The CCIR provides services, information and advice to companies from Reunion at every stage of their international development.
India being a target market for companies from Reunion Island, the CCIR wishes to continue the services of its Indian Desk of the CCIR in the Business Support Services department of IFCCI based in Chennai.
The services provided by the Indian Desk of the CCIR to Reunionese and Indian companies include the identification of prospects and the organization of BtoB meetings during commercial prospection missions, market research, due diligence and trade fair visit organizations, among others.
While creating synergies between the two organizations, the Indian Desk of the CCIR will be able to continue to provide better visibility and foster more business between Reunionese and Indian companies.
